Salary £23,649.45 (Grade PT3) + 10% Market Factor and Car User Allowance
12 month fixed term temporary contract
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a positive, proactive and resourceful individual to join them in the role of Engagement Officer (Services). This is a pivotal role within the organisation and they need someone who is as committed to customer engagement as they are. Delivering a high quality service at all times, your main goal will be to improve service delivery and product development.
Using your excellent communication skills, you will work positively with other agencies, groups and organisations to develop good working relationships and to promote our client’s work. You will identify those groups that are considered to be ‘hard to reach’ and develop and implement action plans to encourage their engagement. This is a varied role that will also involve providing project support for specific projects.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong problem solving approach coupled with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising on quality. With a proven track record of delivering an excellent customer focused service, you will ideally have experience of setting up methods and approaches to involve customers in service provision and improvement. The ability to prepare reports and produce performance statistics is essential and you will need to be a competent user of general IT systems.
A flexible approach to working hours is essential as you will need to cover office opening times on a rota basis to include occasional weekend events and evening meetings. A current valid driving licence and use of your own vehicle is also required.
This post does require the post-holder to carry out duties of a physical nature other than light lifting.
