Newsletter Issue 5 2007
Welcome to the 5th edition of our newsletter. The next month is going to be an exciting time and we wanted to give you a sneak preview of the events taking place.
The HRSS will provide the platform for the official launch of our new product apoint and also the new corporate brochure.
In the weeks to follow the website and all other supportive material will also take on a fresh new look which we hope you will like.
networx will be exhibiting for the second year running at the CIPD’s HR and Software Show to be held at Olympia, London on June 20-21, 2007
Last year we achieved great success with companies such as Croner Consulting adopting our apoint+ technology and this year we hold even greater expectations with the launch of our simple proposition to e-recruitment: apoint.
apoint is the ideal solution for small or medium size companies where the recruitment volume or processes don’t require the higher level of functionality of our recruitment management system, apoint+.
This easy-to-use and straightforward to install solution provides companies with many of the key features associated with e-recruitment:
The show is a free exhibition that enables HR Professionals to view and speak to leading technological companies that are currently transforming HR processes, making them cheaper, more efficient, faster and more accurate.
During the course of the show we will also be demonstrating our other e-recruitment solutions:
networx sourcing & response management service is designed to reduce costs and administration strains of recruitment by attracting quality candidates and handling the response on behalf of our clients.
apoint+ recruitment management system is a fully integrated system designed to help you manage and control the entire recruitment cycle; perfect for the larger corporate recruiter. It enables clients to centralise applications through a seamlessly integrated careers section on their corporate website and manages candidates through the process with optimum efficiency.
A new corporate brochure is also due to accompany the launch of apoint and will be available from the show.
Over the last 3 months, the team at networx have consistently been recognised as a top 10 recruitment service, as voted for by the thousands of candidates applying through Jobsite UK.
At networx our philosophy is simple, by delivering a first class service to candidates we’ve built a reputation that exceeds expectations and delivers an experience that not only continues to grow the success of our brand but also enhances the corporate image of our clients.
This achievement is a direct result of candidate feedback. Every time a candidate applies for a job they can grade the recruitment company and comment on their experience.
At networx we constantly collate and monitor this feedback and ensure the service level we offer is consistently high. There is a recurring comment that acknowledges the level of regular and personal contact provided by our recruitment team, helping us differentiate networx from the growing number of standard, automated services that simply play the numbers game.
Our reputation and commitment to candidates means even more successful recruitment for our clients.

Commenting on this achievement Operations Manager Stephanie Renton said:
As we conduct the majority of communication on our clients’ behalf, it is paramount that our means of communication are professional and well received at all times. The feedback received via our own survey and the Jobsite recruit rank is extremely encouraging and proves that all the action we have taken to improve our communication process has been extremely worthwhile.
Online advertising has been hugely successful and now recruiters have a plethora of choices when it comes to spending their budget. Onrec finds out more about the ways to advertise now and in the future, and also gathers some advice on how to write a good ad.
Stuart Maxwell, Business Development Manager, ABC ELECTRONIC introduces us to the reasons for such success: “Online advertising has an incredible ability to engage with an audience in a way that other mediums can struggle to match. For the recruitment market, the National Online Recruitment Audience Survey (NORAS) recently showed that 72% of online job seekers applied for jobs they found online, of these 65% gained interviews for these jobs and 56% of those that had interviews got the jobs. This is a clear indicator of online recruitment working both for the employer and the employee.
This increasing range of media, channel, and format options will make a bewildering choice available to recruiters deciding how to spend their budget and we should expect to see an increasing focus on performance metrics to plan and analyse activity so that they make the most cost effective choices.

We know the levels of success online recruitment can provide – our client retention rate and growing business is a result of its effective nature.
Our clients are all too aware of the benefits of online advertising but tend to struggle to contend with the growing range of online job boards available, the changing effectiveness of these sites and the different approaches adopted in order to optimise key word searches and CV databases. When consideration is also given to the huge array of other tasks within the HR arena it is not surprising that HR professionals are in need of professional help and guidance to help them make the right choice.
Over the past 5 years we have achieved an enviable amount of experience and intelligence that we utilise to create our clients effective online job advertisements. This creates results.
In addition we are also able to pass on the savings we achieve through our relationship with a vast array of sites, which makes us one of the most cost effective solutions too.
As the launch of apoint approaches, the designs for the new corporate brochure/ folder are also in their final stages.
Designed to provide a simple overview of our growing range of solutions, the brochure can be tailor made to suit the needs of each and every company we see. Having identified the product or service most suitable for your business, more in-depth product inserts complimented by a benefit summary, ease understanding and communication with all those involved in the recruitment process.
