In accordance with our attendance at the forthcoming HR Software Show and Recruitment exhibition, we are giving all visitors to our stand the opportunity to trial our most flexible recruitment solution apoint, free for 3 months.
All companies (subject to suitability) will be offered a free trial when they visit us at stand R80 at Olympia during the 18th 19th June 2008
apoint, which was originally launched at the HRSS last year, has been received with high levels of enthusiasm and has already established a substantial and loyal client base due to the unique and highly cost effective benefits that it delivers.
The integration of a dedicated careers page or list of vacancies on a businesses corporate website is one of the key factors that influence the decision to adopt apoint. Due to the simplicity of the implementation, vacancies can be viewed on a page that replicates the company branding and sits seamlessly within the existing website within a matter of hours.
Compliment this with the introduction of an online application form together with powerful administration tools and companies are able to introduce the key benefits of e-recruitment without the normal cost and time implications.
Anyone who is unable to attend the show but still interested in running a free trial should contact Darren Nuttall on 01943 467766 for further details.

HR Zone - Targeting costs in the online job hunt (22nd April 2008)
The Internet is one of the first places you look when trying to find a new job, how can HR make sure its online presence is not only attractive but cost-effective.
Most companies allow online jobseekers the option to apply for roles through their website but when it comes to sifting through CVs, is the mouse more cost-effective than paper?
....It can also be much cheaper to advertise online, with the wide range of options of where to make your presence known. And those aren't the only savings to be made. By recruiting through the web, you can cut down on the amount of time and energy staff spends on admin and interviews.
What we think
The article also identifies a number of so called disadvantages associated with e-recruitment - issues often faced by companies looking at this alternative method. However these simply indicate how unique the networx service as companies using the service can overcome each of the following:
*Limits the applicant audience
By advertising vacancies on a minimum of 5 online job boards and regularly up to 10 or 12 of the most relevant sites according to the given role, ensures that vacancies are exposed to a vast audience of suitable candidates. Compliment this with the pro-active approach of CV database searching and companies are also able to target candidates of the required skill set.
*Bad site design or technical difficulties put people off
Whether you choose to advertise vacancies on your corporate website or via networx' Sourcing & Response Management service candidates are welcomed with a truly innovative recruitment process that has been consistently been voted in the Top 10 of the RecruitRank run by Jobsite.
Easily accessible information and a simple application process ensures that from start to finish a professional and positive candidate experience is delivered to each and every candidate. In the event of any technical problems, our in-house IT department are extremely responsive in order to avoid the potential loss of suitable candidates who wish to apply.
*Competitors have a higher search engine ranking
Achieving a high ranking on the search engines can be a particularly costly, time consuming and difficult exercise especially in relation to vacancies. If people are looking for roles solely within your organisation the chances are that they would visit your website for further details.
Alternatively if candidates are looking for an industry specific role ie Engineering roles it is unlikely that you will succeed alongside the huge SEO efforts of Generic job boards such as Monster, Fish 4, Totaljobs and Jobsite for example. If you advertise on these sites then you are accessing a huge amount of job seekers. Networx' Sourcing & Response Management service enables you to access the high volume of traffic attracted by a minimum of 5 online job boards and achieve substantial levels of exposure without the accumulative costs of advertising directly.
*Provide too little or inappropriate information
Without the cost and space restrictions offered by the press for example the Internet is ideal platform to include as much information as required. Utilising over 6 years experience of what candidates look for and the way candidates search copy writing is extremely effective and delivers quality results.
Recent developments made to networx' most comprehensive recruitment management system, the apoint+ system, have ensured that the product remains at the forefront of technology available for the corporate recruiter.
The following updates will help reinforce apoint+'s position as a market leading product and one that is a valuable recruitment tool to companies such as: Gamestation, NFT, Wolters Kluwer, Sleepmasters, Wagamama and West Bromwich Building Society.
Enhancements made to both the client side and the candidate registration process ensures that this new functionality is of equal benefit to both parties.
By allowing the candidates to submit further information during registration they will automatically receive details of a higher volume of vacancies that may be suitable and ensure that they don't miss out on any simply due to the key words they originally submitted.
In return clients are able to identify suitable candidates more accurately and easily within their talent pool potentially reducing the need to consider alternative recruitment methods with cost implications.
Providing clients with a much more detailed vacancy listing the new workflow lists provide users with an immediate snap shot of current activity and the status of campaigns. This simple development ensures a real time overview of details such as the number of applications received, short-listed applicants and interviews booked etc.
The new ability to bulk assign agencies to a vacancy ensures that notifying the PSL of current vacancies is both quick and easy. A more attractive and user-friendly agency login also ensures that the submission of candidates' details is a simple and efficient process.
This new functionality offers even greater control of Line Managers and restricted users. Now not only can users be restricted to individual vacancies but their ability to carry out certain functions can also be restricted. For example, a user may be able to view candidates and shortlist them but the actual interview arrangement and communication needs to be undertaken centrally. By allocating each element of the process to individuals this development ensures the technology can fit the needs of any process.
The recent addition of 9 new members of staff has taken networx to new heights with a record number of staff. With over 40 members of staff and several offers to be confirmed in the next few weeks, this recent growth reflects the continuous high levels of success achieved by the business.
Adding weight to all departments within the business, June will witness the addition of 3 new members to the Account Management Team, 5 new Client Relations Managers to further increase geographic coverage throughout the UK and additional resources to the IT department with 1 new member to the team.
