Welcome to latest issue of our newsletter.
It seems as though month on month we are gathering more and more momentum that differentiates us from traditional recruitment agencies and system providers. Both our products and our service levels have been recognised as one of the best.
Whilst candidates have voted us as the number 1 agency on Jobsite's RecruitRank, networx have also been nominated by our clients for the Software Satisfaction Awards.

networx sales of e-recruitment systems apoint and apoint+ have reached record levels in the last few months contributing to what appears to be an exceptional year for networx and sets high expectations for the final quarter of their financial year.
Whilst sales of the Sourcing and Response Management Service have been increasing month on month it is the rocketing sales of the systems provided by networx that has exceeded all expectations.
The recently launched apoint system – designed to introduce the key benefits of e-recruitment to small and medium sized businesses has been met with great enthusiasm. In fact it has been adopted by quite a number of their clients in the last 4 weeks, including flexible office provider MWB Exchange, Housing association Connect Housing, Chemical distributor Univar & providers of specialist financial advice, Wesleyan.
The more comprehensive solution, apoint+ has also been adopted by a record number of clients in the last few weeks. These include one of the UK’s largest heating boiler manufacturers, Worcester Bosch, North West based housing association The Regenda Group and provider of marine, protective, yacht and aerospace coatings, International Paint (Akzo Nobel).
In response to this recent success, Director Andy Pierson commented:
"The recent sales of both our recruitment systems have far outweighed our expectations over the last month. We are really pleased with the level of success achieved especially during our third quarter. We have increased sales by 50% compared to the previous qtr, we have filled more positions than ever, we have provided more systems than previous quarters and we still have more to come. The increase in sales is down to the success of our people and todays acceptance and realisation of what online recruitment can do for clients"
networx has been nominated for the UK’s most comprehensive user-driven awards scheme for business software.
Run by Sift Media in association with the Business Application Software Developers Association (BASDA) networx are one of three companies nominated for the category of Talent Management.
Nominated companies including major software providers such as Microsoft, Oracle, Sap and Sage have been selected entirely on the views of genuine users of business applications. The award ceremony will take place on Tuesday 9th October at The Brewery in London.

What they say - The recruitment & employment confederation - 24th August
In the first six months of 2007, the Professional Standards team handled 312 enquiries and complaints. This compares to the whole of 2006 when the REC dealt with a total of 685 enquiries.
Key findings of the complaint report January to June 2007 included customer service level, failure to work according to best practise in equal opportunties, advertisements not complying with new age discrimination laws and candidates having their CV's sent without permission.
networx are often classed as a recruitment agency and for our clients we do actually provide a similar service to that of a first class agency. However it is findings such as the above that we are proud to explain our differences.
For example, just in this newsletter we make reference to our nomination for the Software Satisfaction Award and achieving number 1 status over a 3 month period for Recruit Rank. These have been the result of both clients and candidates voting networx as one of the best service providers. It is this kind of accolade which provides evidence that our service exceeds that of a traditional agency.
One of our major differences, to the benefit of both client and candiate, is that any candidates that apply to a client advert are sent solely for the consideration of that vacancy and not cross matched for other potentially suitable vacancies. All applications are made personally by candidates.
However the opportunity is given to candidates to register their details for vacancies that may be advertised in the future. This information is only used to send notification of the vacancy and requires the candidate to make a decision as to whether apply.
As a Rec member, networx are proud of the service we provide and make every effort to continue to improve the level of client and candidate satisfaction at every stage of the recruitment process.
Networx have consistently achieved top 10 ranking with Jobsite Recruit Rank and over the last 3 months have been voted as the number one agency from 133 in our sector and 7th overall out of 626 recruitment companies
Commenting on this achievement Operations Manager, Stephanie Renton stated: "My team and I are very passionate about the level of customer service and the way we treat candidates, and this is obviously reflected in the scores that they give us. We continuously make changes to the way we manage applications and this is obviously having a positive effect on the way our candidates view us. The hard work and dedication of my team has definitely been recognised and we are now determined to push even harder to achieve the number one status".
