The recession has had a significant impact on both candidates and employers but it appears that candidates are now making considerable changes in order to secure their perfect career.

46% of workers in Europe who were laid off from full-time jobs in the last year reported they have changed something about their appearance to make themselves more attractive to employers. (Career Builder)

72% of candidates are willing to relocate abroad for the right job compared to 62%in 2006 (total jobs)

23% of 16 – 35year olds do not feel they are in the right job (SHL)

32% of staff have re- evaluated the position of their current employer during the recession and 25% are considering a change of career when the economy improves. (Tate)
