Wirral-headquartered renewable bioenergy and Combined Heat and Power specialists, Fleetsolve are expanding its workforce with the creation of an additional 70 jobs to meet the growing demand for its products and services.

Fleetsolve, a SIMEC Brand, is an award-winning business specialising in the design, manufacture and operation of liquid and gas-powered combined heat and power (CHP) units and power generation systems. Our range of applications begin at 5kWe through to 2.5mWe and everything in between. Our renewable power systems are utilised by a wide range of commercial application throughout the UK where a zero-carbon energy solution, reliability and grid resilience are critical.

The Role of Partner Account Manager

  • Cultivating and maintaining the business relationships between partner organisations to ensure cooperation and understanding across all levels of the teams involved. The ultimate goal of this role is to develop profitable business for both parties and to collaborate with each other to deliver projects and opportunities into the market sector.
  • Responsible for the main channels of communication using a range of communication tools and techniques.
  • Facilitate collaboration between both sides of the partnership and encourage the exchange of technical, sales and commercial information and knowledge to best support the opportunity.
  • The role will require excellent communication and negotiation skills along with an understanding of commercial contracts and agreements.
  • The accounts under management are world class OEM engine, Combined Heat and Power and generator manufacturers with ambitious growth plans for the UK. This includes the sale and distribution and parts and service items from our own warehousing facility, service and maintenance of existing and new equipment, along with the sale of high value large scale CHP and generator packages. 
  • Production of business development targets, identifying areas of risk and highlighting market opportunities for expansion.
  • Target driven mentality with a very professional outlook toward customer experience.
  • Development of sector knowledge to ensure our partners are aware of challenges and opportunity from data driven profiles and information.
  • Based from home and office this role will require travel into Europe with overnight stays expected.
  • Involvement with apprentice training and coaching of interdepartmental colleagues.
  • Work closely with the broader team to encourage knowledge transfer and understanding.

 

Skills and qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely at all levels with non-technical and technical colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • To own the process of partnership engagement and management to fulfil your potential as well as the partnership opportunity.
  • This role will require an advanced understanding and operation of CRM and MS office packages.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role in power generation, automotive or technology sector.
  • Highly skilled in presentations and review documentation.
  • Degree educated in one of the following subjects; mechanical, physics financial, economic, business studies or complementary disciplines.
  • Ability to learn quickly with a thirst for information and advancement for both parties. 
  • Multilingual in English, Spanish and other European languages will be an advantage.

  • Well presented for many different opportunities representing each of our partners at trade show exhibitions, open days etc.
  • Ability to prioritise workload to deliver to timescales and ensure partners and customers’ expectations are managed and met.
  • Essential ability to work as part of a wider combine group, as well as on your own, to manage project demands and outcomes and thrive on an ever changing dynamic. 
  • Prepared to work in other departments as and when the business requires.
