(Shifts to be worked over 7 days including earlies, lates, weekends, bank holidays and some night duties)



We are currently recruiting for Support Workers for our Nursing service in Brighouse which supports people with severe Learning Disabilities. Clients may present some challenging behaviours and could also have a physical disability.


The service is a 7 bedded nursing home for clients with learning disabilities and some challenging behaviour. Some clients have mobility needs and there is a high level of moving and handling required. Good interpersonal skills required. Clients have varying levels of communication.


You will be working with clients supporting them in their daily lives and enabling them to live as independently as possible, using person centred approaches and always respecting individuals’ rights and choices. You will be involved in providing personal care and assisting with domestic duties such as cooking, shopping and cleaning.


Qualifications are not essential, however you will be required to complete the Care Certificate qualification when in post. If you have the right values for our organisation, you will be supported by a programme of continuous training and development.
