The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Supply Manager to join Essar Oil UK (EOUK).

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate their experience of working in the Biofuels and CSO field in order to support EOUK on its transition and divestment into the sustainable energy sector.

The Commercial Supply Manager will be responsible for producing the short term Bio strategy for the business and will be expected to actively contribute towards the medium to long-term sustainable energy strategy from design through to execution.

The role holder will own, manage and develop the Company’s Bio-fuels and CSO (Compulsory Stock Obligations) portfolio, via end-to-end Account and Contract Management, for the external stakeholders and will require skilled relationship building and management to successfully achieve the target growth. The successful candidate will also have responsibility for Account Management with domestic FAME suppliers, which will include managing the FAME Purchase and Diesel Supply contracts.

The person taking on this role will need to be able to manage collective collaboration and communication with colleagues within Marketing, the wider EOUK team and business service providers to ensure customer propositions are developed and delivered in order to achieve customer conversions. This process will require a good level of organisation and the ability to process data through the back office systems.

The role will also have the responsibilities of managing compliance for this area, so demonstrable experience and knowledge of this is required.

About You
Our ideal candidate should have a relevant Degree, ideally within a Business or Commercial area, supported by experience within a similar role from within a downstream Oil and Gas Environment, preferably. We require an experienced and driven Account Manager, who is resilient and creative in their approach to work, who can manage and run multiple projects as well as the day-to-day activities. The successful candidate will be confident in communicating with all levels within the Company and is able to understand and deliver the needs of their customers.

Commercially astute, an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to review and balance risk to the Company, the successful candidate should be able to work as part of a team, with the ability to self-manage and work autonomously. The role holder must also possess excellent IT skills, which cover all the Microsoft Office Package, with a working knowledge of SAP ideally.
