OVERALL SUMMARY

Join Close Brothers Health and Safety Team where you will be reporting to the Health, Safety and Compliance Manager, the Health and Safety Co Ordinator will be supporting all areas of the Health and Safety department with administration, auditing, reporting and supporting the full compliance of the sites and the contractors.

The role holder will liaise with key stakeholders, third parties and other members of the Facilities team to ensure an excellent service is maintained at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor, respond and escalate all H&S queries/issues within the H&S inbox.
  • Actioning site audits across the portfolio and working with the stakeholders to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Advise and assist with closing H&S audit findings/actions across the properties where required and within agreed timescales.
  • Work with stakeholders in carrying out health and safety risk assessments, preparing safety procedures and maintenance records across the property portfolio and updating them when necessary.
  • Monitor and support all H&S compliance across the business and work with stakeholders to ensure compliance at all times.
  • Support in the continuously updated compliance in all jurisdiction with regards to Covid physical actions on site and documentation required.
  • Support with the Health and Safety Committee Meetings including taking Minutes
  • Liaise with health and safety reps to ensure the correct provision of first aiders and fire wardens across the Bank and maintain records centrally.
  • Consistent customer support with all DSE requirements from issues, ordering and consolidated invoice confirmation.
  • Ensure all Group Accidents, incident and near misses are logged and investigated and escalated as required.
  • Administration of documents as required, and all information kept up to date as required.
  • Assist with implementation of all new environmental initiatives across the business
  • Maintain H&S procedures and update as required.

  • Ability to produce reports and analyse data.
  • Work autonomously.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to efficiently prioritise workload  

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:

  • Knowledge of facilities.
  • Fire Warden and First Aid experience.
  • DSE knowledge
