Job Outline:

Working in our Berkeley Alexander brand (, we are seeking someone to join our Broking Support Team, to support our brokers and agents in their day-to-day dealings with us. The role is initially under our apprenticeship scheme with a view to completing the first stage Insurance qualifications within the first 18-24 months. On the job training with excellent career opportunities exist for the right candidate to progress into our broking team, handling all forms of insurance queries from quoting through to renewals and everything in between. We are looking for someone who is good with numbers, an inquisitive mind keen to learn and with a good telephone manner.

The key elements include:-

Handling all forms of general enquiries; reconciling payments; processing renewals and payment requests; providing day to day support in managing bank accounts and cashbooks and dealing with insurer reconciliations & payments, refunds and commission queries.  


  • Ensuring business standards are adhered to at all times
  • Ensuring that all workflow activity is completed in accordance with approved business processes
  • Ensuring calls are answered in a timely professional manner, ensuring the required customer experience is always delivered.
  • Complying with all approved procedures, customer service standards and external regulatory bodies.
  • Achieving and maintaining the required competencies for the role.
  • Ensuring that any customer complaints are identified and handled strictly within the company's complaints procedure.
