37.5 hours per week - (5 days out of 7. Sleep ins, earlies, lates, weekends, bank holidays.)

Wakefield, West Yorkshire

£18,569.32 – 18,898.71 per annum (pro rata)

 

You will be providing care and support to a client with learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviours that may be perceived as challenging on a 1:1 basis in their own home; promoting independence and helping them get the most out of life.

 

This will involve helping with household tasks; helping with shopping and budgeting and supporting clients to attend healthcare appointments and leisure activities.

 

Full clean driving licence is desirable for this post as the client has a mobility vehicle.

 

If this is your first time working in a social care post you will be expected to complete the new Care Certificate and all mandatory training courses as part of your Induction. You will receive regular support in order to achieve this.
