Site Engineer
Rail / Civil Engineering
Location – York or Barnsley
Site based role - Eastern Region/route project locations
An exciting opportunity for a number of new Site Engineer (s) to join an established business unit dedicated to working on Network Rail Capital Delivery projects in the Eastern region, working on a variety of rail infrastructure building and civil engineering projects.
Business Unit
A busy and fast paced business unit involved in a range of civil engineering works associated with Network rail infrastructure such as various bridge refurbishment and renewals, embankments, stations etc. The business unit are involved in multi-disciplinary rail civils projects up and down the CP6 LNE route ranging in scale and value but often complex and technically challenging.
Existing contracts in the CP6 infrastructure projects framework/contract includes schemes such as bridge re-construction/replacement, upgrades and refurbishments, station work (platforms, access for all and footbridge installations), platform re-gauging / platform extensions etc.
The Role
As Site Engineer, you will be reporting to the Project Manager/Site Agents and will be accountable for the weekly planning and ongoing delivery of site based works.
Day to day responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

To excel in this role, you will have previous experience as a Site Engineer with Setting Out experience having worked on civil engineering projects or element of a multi-disciplinary project in the rail sector.
