Waking Night Support Worker needed to join our team at Derwent Road.

 

Derwent Road is a small  Registered Care service in Bedworth,  With a friendly customer base this scheme provides person centred care for adults with varying needs. We are now looking for individuals who can deliver a heartfelt service on the waking Night shift. This 20hr per week position is to help our customers should they need support during the night. And help prepare the service for the next day

Whilst each night can be different you will be there to support our customers with areas such as domiciliary care, personal care, administering of medication and ensuring their safety.

When you join us at Derwent Road you will be an integral part of a small and friendly team, will be provided with personal protective equipment and given all training to ensure you are successful in your role.

You’ll be a good communicator and able to provide emotional support to our customers through uncertainty; ensuring they feel comfortable and secure through offering support, advice and guidance.

You’ll be happy to provide personal care to male and female customers and ideally have studied or be studying towards your level 2 care certificate. Confident, reliable and motivated by seeing your customers being supported with Dignity are the supportive qualities you will need.

If you're new to care, we'll introduce and equip you with both the academic knowledge and practical experience to build your career in the care sector. You will have the opportunity to explore studying care certificates and take advantage of on the job learning. The successful candidate will possess a passion or developing interest for working in the care sector and will appreciate the importance of providing tailored care for individual customers. This role is offered on with  10 hour shifts (22:00-08.00, 7 day rota).
