We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who will help shape the future of our products, delivering best-in-class design and experience across our portfolio and customer base.

 

As UI/UX Designer your main duties will be empathising with users, applying your creative and analytical thinking and understanding and translating those into functional prototypes and high-fidelity designs. You’ll also mentor the junior members in the design team.

 

Responsibilities within the role:

  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and decision-makers on the execution of the overall interface, user experience, and design.

  • Gathering and evaluating user requirements in collaboration with Product Managers and Back-end Software Developers.

  • Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps

  • Developing UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites/apps function and look like

  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders (low-fidelity wireframes)

  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., consistency, accessibility and responsiveness)

  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback

  • Package style guides and assets in a very organised manner

 

Skills required for the UI/UX Designer:

  • Proven experience inspiring clients and turning ideas into world-class experiences

  • Demonstrable experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role

  • Portfolio of front end or UX/UI projects

  • Native mobile experience is highly desirable

  • Experience working in an Agile environment is an advantage

  • Knowledge of wireframe tools (Adobe XD)

  • Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders (developers as well as senior stakeholders)

  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to produce quickly

  • Experience with the following technologies is highly desirable:

    • HTML

    • CSS / SCSS

    • JavaScript 

    • jQuery  

    • Bootstrap Framework
