About the role                                       

 

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an Instructor Demonstrator Assessor in Plumbing on an hourly paid basis. Instructor Demonstrator Assessors are responsible for instructing, training, demonstrating and assessing students on competence based/skills based learning programmes devised.

 

The successful candidate will:  

 

  • Hold a relevant industrial qualification at a minimum Level 3.
  • Be a qualified teacher or must be prepared to commence an appropriate teaching qualification on appointment to the post.
  • Hold an Assessor Award or be willing to work towards within an agreed timescale.
  • Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Have a commitment to undertake any mandatory training relevant to the role.
  • Have current and relevant industrial experience or time served apprentice in Plumbing/fabrication.
  • Have up to date subject knowledge.
  • Have good communication skills with a range of trainees/learners and staff.
