The role

This is a key role within the ICT team. As a DevOps Developer you will responsible for designing and developing a wide range of complex business solutions on existing and potentially new applications used by the business, You will analyse requirements and advise on options to deliver operational improvement.

You will work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to understand and investigate feedback into the service, function, or product provided and their suitability for our business requirements. Understand the opportunity for automation within the organisation, and develop automation strategies, embedding principles, crafting roadmaps and business cases.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience of providing a customer focused end-user ICT support service. You should have experience in Application & Software Lifecycle Management. Solid experience in multi-tier application architecture & development using Microsoft technology. Excellent object-oriented design and methodologies and MVC design. Experience working with Azure Cloud Platform including DevOps and related services

The candidate should demonstrate excellent customer service skills and be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team to deliver a service. You will be able to plan and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities working in an agile framework.

Good literacy and numeracy – GCSE Maths and English (grade C or above) or equivalent is essential.

Degree or equivalent in ICT discipline or equivalent experience.
