Join Close Brothers Salesforce Product Development Team, where you will be involved in core platform integration activity across the business. Working as part of the Product team our ideal new member will have previous experience in Salesforce Development with excellent communication skills.


  • Ability to work as an integral member of a Scrum Team in the implementation of software development efforts, including coding, configuration, maintenance, installation, testing and debugging, as well as managing their timelines and producing technical documentation.
  • Work closely with the business teams to maintain the Cloud Lending Originate and Sales Cloud suite implemented on the platform. Developing custom solutions to extend the suite’s functionality. This may involve discussing trade-offs with other teams, such as the terms of the configuration versus the code in place or mapping the functional requirements to existing functionality.

Developing Our People: as a line manager, you will be responsible for increasing productivity and developing performance through coaching, mentoring and developing your team members. You will encourage your team to take responsibility for their own personal development and provide support through regular feedback.


  • You have a strong ability to develop functionality using the Salesforce Platform Languages: Lightning Components (Aura & LWC), Apex, Visualforce and SOQL.
  • You have experience using programming languages: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.
  • You have extensive knowledge of configuring declarative tools such as process builder, flows, workflow rules and validation rules.
  • Hold knowledge of using development tools such Salesforce CLI, ANT Migration Tool, Visual Studio Code, Git Tortoise, Sublime and Artifactory.
  • Have an ability to use tools such as Git (GitLab) and Jenkins for source control and continuous integration.
  • You have experience in integrating Salesforce with 3rd party applications (for example Quip, Conga, DocuSign) and with other internal systems would be a plus.
