We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Team.

The Business Development & Marketing Department leads on all aspects of business development and communications for Fieldfisher. We focus on revenue generation and reputation enhancement. We consider ourselves to be commercially minded, proactive & creative with a sense of humour. What can you expect?

As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for providing a significant step change in organic search traffic and revenue for the B2C arm of Fieldfisher. The successful applicant will work closely with the Personal Injury and Medical Negligence department to help fuel their continued growth. You will perform the following functions:

Organic SEO

  • To plan and implement organic strategies in line with departmental objectives
  • To Track and improve the sites visibility, driving organic B2C search traffic to specific pages
  • To manage of the Organic Performance and departmental budget and any agency relationships
  • To create, brief and implement on page recommendations in line with key digital revenue objectives
  • To develop on page content and manage its production, while advising on SEO best practices
  • To execute all link building activities; including advising and working with external webmasters, content writers and syndication specialists
  • To work closely with core digital marketing team members, collaborating and signing off on site developments
  • To monitor transactions on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis and ensure that the SEO channels are achieving their targets.  Analyse and report on specific target areas as outlined by the SEO strategy
  • To research and provide insight into keyword and keyword cluster profitability
  • To analyse on cutting edge SEO strategies – have the ability to deep dive into specific topics
  • To handle large volumes of data in order to infer correlations and actionable insights
  • To providing insight into link building techniques and new technology/partnerships
  • To analyse online competitor trends and identify key or opportunities or potential pitfalls

Web Development

  • To implement HTML and CSS edits to individual web pages
  • To explore and introduce functional updates to the website to enhance its offering (chat-bots, auto forms etc)
  • To instruct and liaise with the external web agency on hard changes to the sites core architecture

Social Media

  • To develop departmental wide social media plans and activities
  • To post and update all social media channels multiple times daily with updated content and imagery
  • To manage the user accounts owned by departmental fee earners and post updates in tandem for maximum exposure

Reporting

  • To clearly communicate and update the partnership, management and key stakeholders
  • To report on a monthly basis on digital marketing progress to departmental wide audiences
  • To report on a monthly basis to the Marketing Director

Print

  • Print production, including brochure design and development using Adobe CC
  • Video production, upload and syndication using CyberLink Director Suite
  • Image editing for print using Adobe CC

Outreach

  • To produce and execute email campaigns using Vuture and Interaction CRM

Events

  • Assisting with events co-ordination

A bit about you

  • Diplomatic and persuasive interpersonal skills
  • Strong communicator with a good ability to explain and deliver digital insight and recommendations to non-digital experts
  • Highly personable with the ability to engage and influence multiple business stakeholders
  • Keeps up to date with latest SEO trends
  • Educates other areas of the business who indirectly impact SEO category performance
  • Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of a range of software packages
  • Strong presentation skills

 

Required Experience

  • Expert knowledge of agency grade SEO applications, including: MOZ, Agency Analytics, SEMRush and Majestic
  • Intermediate knowledge of Google analytics & Webmaster tools
  • Intermediate knowledge of keyword research & technical audit toolset
  • Experience in enterprise level Content Management Systems, including Umbraco
  • Working knowledge of HTML mark-up, PHP and ASP coding
  • Working knowledge of CSS styling and coding
  • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe CC, programs to include InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Working knowledge of video editing software, CyberLink Director Suite preferred
  • Expert knowledge of Hootsuite or other Social Media applications
  • Intermediate knowledge of Vuture
  • Intermediate knowledge of web redirection tactics and the impact they have on SEO results
  • Working knowledge of server side architecture, load balancing and reverse proxies
  • Excellent digital problem solving skills, including, CSS hacks and Growth Hacking knowledge
  • Ability to self-manage and keep track of multiple projects
  • Genuine passion for SEO and online marketing
  • Up–to-date industry knowledge/latest trends - algorithm updates such as Panda, Penguin, Hummingbird, Real Time and the impact
  • Working knowledge of Interaction CRM
