  • Build an understanding of the existing International portfolio of company scheme
  • Develop an understanding of the International markets and rules and regulations that TH&P must comply with
  • Handle client queries, claims / invoice issues, chasing membership packs, certificates or up-to-date membership lists in order to provide a high-level service to clients that is valued and strengthens the client relationship
  • Understand invoice processing from insurers/providers
  • Contact insurers/providers to resolve any amendments not actioned or to resolve any issues that clients are facing using initiative and conscientiousness and following through to completion
  • Upon receipt of International Fact Find, draft quotation request and send to market in liaison with Sales Consultant/Head of International
  • Prepare monthly audit checks on Company schemes
  • Complete premium and benefit comparison tables for all market reviews / new business enquiries
  • Ensure relevant paperwork is on file to ensure compliant process is complete
  • Attend client meetings as necessary
  • Attend insurer training on a regular basis to ensure market knowledge levels are kept up to date


Essential criteria


  • Experience within the Financial Services market is essential, with International Private Medical Insurance experience also essential.
  • Experience in successfully converting potential customer enquiries essential
  • Experience in relationship building with Insurers/Providers, Clients and Account Managers
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office Programs
  • Minimum of Cert CII or willingness to study towards qualification
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Strong, personable telephone manner
  • Professional, customer focused approach internally and externally when dealing with colleagues and distribution partners
  • Well organised and able to respond well under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Working well as part of a team as well as being able to work for periods using own initiative
  • Copes well with change, internally within the business and externally within the market
  • Efficient and Reliable
