Account Manager – Life Sciences Job working remotely as part of the Sales team at EMIS.

Responsible for providing essential technology to 10,000 healthcare organisations across all major UK health sectors, we are looking for an Account Manager to work with our Healthcare and Pharmaceutical existing and future customers.

 

What you’ll do

As an Account Manager, your key duties will include:

  • Deliver new business sales to achieve or exceed the sales target for your accounts
  • Work with business leads on day to day management of strategic accounts to include:
    • Developing and maintaining detailed account plans for your accounts including key contacts and relationships, opportunity management and account strategy oversight of contractual process
    • Monitoring of business processes to ensure delivery against contract
    • Act as key point of liaison between customer and EMIS delivery teams
  • Build meaningful relationships with decision makers and innovators in the Pharma and Life Science markets to raise our profile and promote our USP
  • Support the team with specialist market intelligence on trends, key players, competitors and potential partners
  • Liaise with product development of market and customer requirements; develop user stories and lead on product inception to ensure market fit

 

This is a field based role with the requirement to meet with customers, and travel to our offices for team meetings. Therefore, you are required to have a full driving license.

 

Who you’ll be

  • You’ll have a significant understanding of this market and some experience of working in a highly regulated sector is essential for this role
  • Experience of selling services in the regulated space would be an advantage
  • Excellent client presentation skills
  • A proactive attitude to prospecting and the tenacity to achieve and maintain a buoyant pipeline of appointments with new prospects
  • Ability to take ownership of accounts and work on your own initiative
