The vacancy
Shepherds Bush Housing Association (SBHA) was established 1968 and has now grown into an organisation that manages approximately 5,000 homes, primarily in the London Boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, Hounslow, Ealing and Hillingdon. The group has just embarked on its “Future 50” transformation programme to ensure it meets the future housing and service needs of the west London community. The future strategy revolves around improving our customer satisfaction levels, delivering a more ambitious growth programme through new building and improving operational efficiency. As part of the strategy we are building an Technology team fit for the future.
About the role
The Senior Application Support Analyst will bridge the gap between 3rd party suppliers and business users; being the key conduit between users’ requirements, 3rd party service provision, support contracts and holding suppliers to account against contractual SLA’s.
Please note this is an applications support and NOT an infrastructure support analyst role
The Senior Application Support Analyst will oversee practices and processes to ensure integrity, safety and availability of all data and applications as part of an organisation's information systems; making sure that the processes needed for the business to function and succeed are running smoothly, acting as a technical point of contact to fix application and systems issues.
Key Accountabilities
Holding Application providers to account in meeting their SLA’s
Act as business partner for key areas to improve the quality of data entry into applications to a high standard.
Champion the correct use of applications through training and monitoring of applications performance.
Drive application and data quality improvements to maximise value and efficiency.
Provide applications support for core systems such as Civica CX Housing Management systems, SUN Finance, C365 Compliance and Plentific. This includes both technical and business requirements.
Provide 1st and 2nd Line Helpdesk Support
Engage with the business to drive continuous improvements and ensure the applications are used effectively and correctly.
Engage with project teams to ensure new applications have adequate support arrangements and are ready for live service.
About you
You will have great communication skills and experience of providing application support ideally within Housing Management. You will have proven experience of taking the initiative and being innovative. You will need an analytical mind with a problem solving aptitude.
ITIL qualification preferred.
Understanding of database management systems.
SSRS Reporting Skills.
Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Familiarity with Microsoft technologies

How long do we keep your data?
