The Role - Field Sales Executive - Location Edinburgh - Open ended Commission


Are you interest in an open-ended commission role on top of a £25,875 basic salary, £6 per day lunch allowance and 20 paid holiday days plus all bank holidays? Salary increases too £30,000 after successful completion of probation. The roles are full time and permanent positions.

Our prestigious client is focused on ensuring that their credit card is accepted in all independent merchants in the Edinburgh city  areas.

This world-famous credit card is used by millions of people daily and easily set up on payment terminals with the business owners’ permission.

You will be required to walk into all independent merchants in your designated postcode area and sign up those that don’t currently offer this particular credit card as a means of payment for their customers.


The Requirements

  • Experience of field sales desirable. Utilities sales experience beneficial.
  • Ability to present the features and benefits of the products and answer questions that merchants may have.
  • Sign up and close the merchant to agree to accept this credit card as a form of payment. There is no charge to the merchant for doing this.
  • A lot of walking is involved so the individual needs to be fit and happy to work outside.
  • Visit reports and sales contracts are recorded on Salesforce CRM so applicants must be able to use CRM and work from a tablet or iphone.

Role responsibilities

  • Sign a minimum of 5 merchants a week. Commission paid on every sale and is uncapped.
  • Minimum calls per day requirement and an expectation of Decision Maker engagement with an agreed percentage of your calls. To be discussed in your interview.
  • Articulate the value proposition and close the sale.
