Hours:                       37 hours per week

About the role                                               

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an IT Security & Compliance Officer in IT. This is a new role within the College IT team, due to the teams growth and the college's focus of their cyber security stance. This is a real opportunity to make the role your own, and set the baseline!

 

The successful candidate will:  

  • Grade C or above in Maths or English (or equivalent) – Essential
  • Relevant IT qualification at Level 2 – Essential
  • 1 Years’ experience working in an equivalent IT role – Desirable
  • Experience of exceeding customer expectations and commitment to excellence - Desirable
  • Experience of working within an IT Department providing service to a variety of customer areas – Desirable.
  • Experience of using Service Desk software systems and working to Service Level Agreements – Desirable.
  • Providing 2nd line support to incidents and requests logged via a ITSM ticketing system
  • Provide technical assistance in relation to project management support
  • Understanding of the requirements of Cyber Essentials
  • Administration of SCCM to provide OS imaging and application packaging
  • Supporting Audio Visual technology
  • Providing administrative support across an Office 365 platform
  • To have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • To have excellent interpersonal, team working and customer service skills
  • An excellent communicator
