We are now looking to recruit a high calibre Graduate Environmental Consultant to work full time.  This role will be based out of our Bristol Office.

The successful candidate will be working alongside highly experienced colleagues on high profile international projects across Europe, the FSU, the Middle East and Africa, assisting some of the world’s leading organisations to safeguard the environment for the future. 

Graduate Environmental Consultant

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting senior consultants with the co-ordination and production of screening reports, feasibility studies, scoping reports, environmental, social and health impact assessments (ESHIA’s) and environmental and social management plans
  • Background desktop data collection on environmental and social issues
  • Opportunities to undertake field data collection in the UK and abroad
  • Assisting with production of proposals and tenders
  • Assisting project managers with project administration and reporting (using MS Word and Excel).

 

Person specification:

The successful candidates will need to have:

  • A first class honours degree or 2:1 in a relevant subject
  • A postgraduate qualification covering aspects of environmental and social impact assessment would be an advantage 
  • A desire to learn
  • A willingness to travel, if required
  • Competence in the use of Microsoft Office (in particular Word and Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work under own initiative
  • Strong team player
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is essential, but additional language skills would be an advantage.
