The Vacancy
We are looking for a dedicated Tenancy support worker to deliver support services to people in and around the Gwendraeth Valley and Ammanford.
Taking a psychologically trauma and ACE informed approach you will make a difference to the lives of others by delivering high quality tenancy support
This is an exciting role where no two days are the same. You will be part of a small team that is dedicated to improving the lives of those we work with.
You will carry your own caseload after having a through induction where you will be given the skills and knowledge to carry out your role.
Using a flexible approach, you will engage with our service users by providing individual tailored tenancy related support. Building resilience and enabling them to make informed choices about their future.
This role will include Generic tenancy support and Housing first. The key aim is to promote independence and prevent homelessness. The principles of Housing First is to move people from insecure living arrangements to permanent, sustained tenancies and in so doing, support and enable people to lead a more stable lifestyle.
You will be able to work in a flexible manner. The number of days worked can be negotiable if the needs of the service are met.
