This is a Full Time/Flexible Working, Permanent vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We have an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our established Wates Residential team in London, on a £30m regeneration project in Brent. 

Key Accountabilities will include: 

  • Contribute to the project commercial strategies and takes ownership for his/ her own subcontract packages 
  • Demonstrate understanding of internal and external tender strategies / build up 
  • Maximise project cash/value by effective management of subcontract 
  • Work with the Project Surveyor and Commercial Manager to produce and agree subcontract final accounts 
  • Contribute to relevant project procurement strategies with particular reference to issuing tender enquiries, package reconciliations and production of subcontract orders. 

We are looking for you to have relevant commercial skills and experience including the ability to maximise value recovery, cost control and cash management as well as effectively use / understand financial reports and final accounts. 

To be successful in the role you will be a confident communicator, able to demonstrate the ability to form and develop relationships with the client, PQS, design team and supply chain.
