We have an exciting position for a Sustainability Graduate to join our team.  Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting with sustainability reporting and will contribute towards strategic sustainability projects and initiatives for both Pilgrim’s UK and our customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to drive change in complex international supply chains and to become a sustainability subject matter expert. This role will be instrumental in delivering against the Pilgrim’s UK sustainability agenda to be the best and most respected business in our industry, ensuring we deliver a competitive advantage for our business and customers. The role will not only ensure we have first to market solutions but will also work within cross-functional teams to deliver financial savings for the business.


What will I be doing?

As a Sustainability Graduate you will be:

  • Advising, guiding and coaching on all matters relating to sustainable development
  • Working collaboratively with key customer sustainability teams to deliver strategic supply chain initiatives
  • Supporting internal sustainability initiatives in each of the 5 Pilgrim’s UK 2030 governance pillars.
  • Ensure understanding and implementation of Pilgrim’s UK 2030 initiatives across the supply chain.

What does good look like?

Our ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of sustainability issues.  You will be able to work independently and manage multiple interdisciplinary projects, prioritising as required, strong communication skills with people at all levels.  The ability to identify problems back to root causes, devise and implement solutions. 

We are looking for someone with an eye for detail, a  bachelor's degree would be desirable, but is not essential.  There are a number of opportunities for ongoing learning and development to support your success and beyond.
