How much? 

Here's a breakdown of the roles we're looking for, the salaries are for a 37.5-hour week including expected annual call out payments.

General Multiskilled, joiners and builders £14.86 per hour - £30,295.43 per annum (builders roofers, general groundworkers - we want to hear from you!)

Handyperson / labourer £10.39 per hour £20,265.67 per annum (no call out required for this role)


What’s in it for me?

You’ll get 25 days paid annual leave (rising annually to 30) plus Bank Holidays.

You’ll get a van & fuel card (which you don’t need to leave at a depot) but you can only use it for work! So, you’ll need a driving license. 

We’ll supply the latest power tools, but as a tradesperson you’ll already have your own hand tools.

You’ll work a 37.5 hour week, between 8am and 6pm but we can be flexible with this. 

We do have to look after our customers 24/7, so you’ll be expected to cover a call out service, but don’t worry, there are lots of willing folk helping out, so the rota is flexible and given in advance notice so you can plan around this. 



Your primary location will be across West Yorkshire, but you may need to travel across the whole of Yorkshire as required.

You’ll work with an experienced, dynamic and friendly team across the region, and receive training from our experts to ensure you meet our quality guidelines. Opportunities to upskill yourself with various qualifications and move up the ladder too.


Who are we looking for ? 

You’ll  be comfortable working across different trades, this could be anything from repairing leaks, hanging doors or erecting a fence. Or using all your skills under one roof, working in our empty homes.  

We need multi skilled joiners, plumbers, handy persons, builders and labourers. Don’t worry too much if you're better at some things than others, as we can offer the opportunity for shadowing as required, helping you to develop different skills.

Ideally, we are looking for people who can hit the ground running, so you’ll have worked in similar repairs and maintenance roles, great if they have been within social housing, but certainly not a deal breaker! We really just want the skills you can bring to our teams. 

You’ll enjoy interacting with our customers and providing a great service.

The finer print

You must hold a full UK driving license for this role, and a basic DBS check will be required if successful. 

Just an FYI, the salaries listed include an annual payment of £1,300 for expected call out payments – not the handyperson or labourer though as this role doesn’t include call out payments.
