Newcastle College is excited to appoint a new Head of Curriculum leading the Digital Arts provision. The digital arts curriculum area sits within the faculty of Digital and Creative Industries. As an integral part of the leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the curriculum area.  In particular the role is to ensure the curriculum area provides excellent teaching and learning which stretches, challenges and enables students to achieve their personal, educational and employment goals.  Innovation will be a key element in the building of the curriculum areas’ reputation and financial health. 

The digital arts curriculum is very diverse with provision in FE, HE and Apprenticeships. As a growing sector, the ideal candidate will have the ability to shape and further develop this curriculum area whilst leading an ambitious and creative team.

The Head of a Curriculum is expected to be proactive in promoting the College values with all stakeholders. As a manager within NCG all managers are required to promote, uphold and demonstrate through personal example, our values and behaviours.
