We’re currently recruiting an Independent Living Assistant to help empower wellbeing and independence.
The Independent Living Assistant will provide a varied and appropriate programme of physical /health and wellbeing promotion activities based around the needs and wishes of customers aged around 50+ living within a designated geographical area of Stockport.
You will support customers to arrange outings, events activities and entertainment in conjunction with Independent Living officers.
Our ideal candidate will have:
• The ability to work with vulnerable people to assist with promoting their independence.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to deliver key tasks and functions in an efficient and timely manner.
• Experience of data collection, administration and recording procedures with the ability to maintain accurate case notes and organise own caseload.
• Must hold a current valid driving license and have access to a vehicle for work purposes
