About you

If so, then this role could be the perfect opportunity for you and to start your career as s Print Room Technician for The Sheffield College.

 

The Role

This is a customer facing role and as such you will need to be an excellent communicator, ready to go that extra step to ensure our customers receive a great experience.

As the college is constantly looking for new innovative ideas you will be interested in researching new methods and concepts.  Some experience of digital printing would be advantageous.  You will also be experienced in using Windows 10 and Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledge of Copyright would also be an advantage but not essential as training can be given.

Along with other duties the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Operating print room machinery
  • Basic troubleshooting of equipment
  • Assisting staff and students with their printing and offering advice on file formats, paper types etc.
  • Stock control
  • Maintaining copyright records
  • Maintaining the managed print devices
