RSK Group currently has two exciting opportunities for Marketing Support Assistants to work within the marketing department’s pre-qualification support team. The team are based in RSK’s office in Chester. We are currently operating a hybrid working schedule, working together in the office for part of the week and from home for the remainder. We will consider full time and part time candidates. 

The team helps RSK Group companies to demonstrate their compliance with various supply chain pre-qualification requirements to enable them to work for their clients.

You will enable RSK businesses to qualify for work in specific sectors and with individual clients, working closely with business development directors and across all RSK group companies and divisions. As you gain experience, you will have increasing responsibility and opportunities to develop how the team supports business needs and promotes its work internally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting RSK businesses to be effectively represented on industry pre-qualification procurement platforms, registering on e-procurement sites, and completing clients’ supply-chain-approval questionnaires.
  • Maintaining relationships with the clients that RSK companies are approved suppliers for by alerting them to updated RSK company information when required.
  • Maintaining records on RSK systems of e-procurement portal accounts and details of the clients RSK companies are approved suppliers for.
  • Assisting tender managers with the completion and submission of pre-qualification questionnaires using company details and answering questions relating to company-wide information such as safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ), equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) and corporate responsibility and sustainability (CR&S).

Person Specification:

  • Ideally, you will be educated to degree level or have the equivalent relevant experience.
  • You will have excellent literacy skills, including both written and verbal communication.
  • You will display excellent organisational skills and have the ability to prioritise your workload and to work to tight deadlines.
  • You will pay attention to fine details and be capable of understanding and communicating the implications of changes both to team members and, potentially, across the wider group.
  • Previous experience in procurement is not essential. Extensive training is provided and, if interested, support for undertaking professional qualifications is available.
