 We are looking for a Software Developer to join our growing team.

As a Software Developer you will be part of the overall IT development team that is responsible for business and process improvement. This role works with all functions across the group to develop bespoke and robust software solutions to enable the wider team to realise process improvements and innovations that will ensure Severfield are working as effectively and efficiently as possible.

You will provide expertise in best practice and methods for software developments to the group and be responsible for the development of software that support innovative digitisation projects. You will be looking to automate improve and automate processes where possible and the software you develop will be the heart of what we do as a business.

 A key part of this role will be interacting with different teams across the business such as Tekla experts, Structural Engineers and other business stakeholders and business units so good communication is key.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a degree in a related subject area such as Maths, Science, IT or Engineering or be qualified by experience. You will also need to be familiar with using Visual Studio (.net, aspx.net, vb.net, c#, SQL, html, css & bootstrap etc.).

 Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5:15pm and Friday 8:30pm – 3:00pm.

DAM Structures Limited is a Yorkshire-based innovative steel fabrication company offering a comprehensive design, manufacture, and erection service for the construction industry.
