Journeycall Ltd is a busy, vibrant customer contact centre and we currently have a vacancy for a Team Leader to join our team in our Hull office.

As a Team Leader you will be responsible for a team of Customer Service Advisors, providing them with the essential support they need to deliver an unrivalled service to our customers.

You will form a crucial part of our award winning Support team by ensuring that performance targets are met through coaching and developing your team and encouraging efficient working practices. 

You will be required to build and maintain meaningful relations both internally and with our diverse client base. 

With accountabilities in the day to day operational running of the business, as well as being a successful people manager, this role is best suited to those with demonstrable experience in a similar role and environment.

Individuals who can work flexibly, can use their initiative and are effective communicators would thrive in the Team Leader role.

As Journeycall operate across multiple sites in the UK, the right candidate must be confident in effectively managing and engaging with team members based offsite. 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Coach and support team members in their role whilst identifying any necessary training requirements.


  • Be main point of contact for escalated customer communication where appropriate or necessary.


  • Carry out HR related tasks for your team adhering to Company policy and best practice.


  • Assisting Deputy Managers to ensure the smooth and efficient running of departments at all times and in response to evolving business needs.  Covering for Deputy Managers who are on leave or travelling to other Journeycall sites.


  • Assist the Business Planning Team in the collection and reporting of department figures to ensure consistent achievement of SLA’s.


  • Liaise with clients where necessary to support a positive customer experience
