This role will support the RCVS Academy function, which falls under the ‘Compassion’ strand of the Strategic Plan, as follows:
Help our regulated professionals to meet the standards expected of them by their peers, the public and society at large by launching the RCVS Academy, which will house a range of online educational tools to help veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and other potential associates of the College understand what is expected of them in terms of meeting standards, and to support them acquiring relevant knowledge and staying up to date in a creative, accessible and inspiring way.
Job purpose
An opportunity to lead the design, development, and integration of new digital learning courses for the RCVS Academy online learning platform.
Supporting the Academy Manager in creating innovative and engaging digital learning tools to meet identified learning objectives. Working closely with stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time with quality-assured, high-standard content.
This an exciting opportunity to join the Academy team, leading the design and development of courses. A creative mindset with a flexible, positive approach is required to meet the varied responsibilities of this role. Innovation and an enthusiasm to explore the use of new digital learning and development solutions is essential to support the continuous improvement of the Academy.
Key responsibilities
2. Work with stakeholders to understand and respond to learning objectives and project requirements.
3. Maintain and support continuous improvement of content to increase learner engagement and experience.
4. Work across multiple projects to ensure content is delivered on time.
