The Vacancy
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Planner to join our SES team in the North working on a critical project in Sunderland.
SES Engineering Services (SES) is the UK’s pre-eminent design-led Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) provider, specialising in the design and installation of building services and infrastructure solutions.
SES deliver bespoke, design-led cost-efficient solutions optimised for the whole construction team, by maximising off-site manufacture in our production facility SES PRISM delivering our solutions which minimise onsite resources and interfaces assuring quality and customer satisfaction in a measurable, safe way every time.
Key Accountabilities will include:
Work with the site team and main contractor to ensure the projects have fully integrated programmes sequenced in the correct manner to allow the successful completion of the project
Thoroughly study specifications, drawings and relevant contract documents/ correspondence in conjunction with engineers and surveyors to ensure adequacy of the planning and programming of projects
Carry out regular reporting on projects to allow the site team to understand the programme position in relation to progress
Liaise with the project team to ensure progress reports, progress percentages and drop-down programmes, are produced and issued in accordance with SES Best practice, company procedures and project requirements to allow proper management and commercial protection to be achieved
We are looking for a qualified Senior Planner with experience of working on M&E projects across a diverse range of sectors and have an advanced level in Asta Power Project. We are looking for someone who is a confident communicator at various levels of profession, proactive and solution driven and comfortable leading planning meetings.
