Do you have an excellent attention to detail?

As Policy and Strategy Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of the Group's Policy Framework.   

You will take pride in ensuring policies are consistent in content and presentation, maintaining the Group’s policy management solution to ensure accuracy of policy information and governance processes are adhered to.

Liaising with colleagues, customers, and partners you will develop high quality Policies, proactively undertaking benchmarking and research activities to ensure the Policies we adopt at Longhurst are compliant and drive service improvement.

You will support the Group’s Strategy Framework, ensuring key strategy documents and delivery plans are of a high standard. Working with key colleagues to ensure there is visibility and oversight of our strategy environment you will provide progress reports against these.

Working within a successful Governance team, this represents a great opportunity to add real value and support the Group’s improvement agenda.

The Person

Highly motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills you will have a good attention to detail, be highly organised, and proactive.

You may have experience working within a policy and strategy environment or have transferrable skills for this role. Demonstrable skills in relation to research and development activities would also be desirable but not essential.  We’re looking for an individual who can demonstrate a track record in maintaining systems, business processes or similar.

You will be highly competent in managing multiple projects and priorities and building relationships with key stakeholders. You will have a passion for continuous improvement and ensure the Group’s Policy and Strategy environment is fit for purpose and reflects our Vision and Values.
