We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Member within the Plant Attendants based at our Stocksbridge site. The Team Member shall have responsibility for activities associated with the maintenance and operation of the Works Services, Effluent Plants and Utilities on site.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Plant Attendants must be self-motivated and highly flexible. They are required to work unsupervised and deliver a first-class customer service in accordance with departmental goals and KPI’s.
  • Ensure that contractors operate within and comply with relevant Health, Safety & Environmental legislation & guidance.
  • Ensuring an efficient service is offered to manufacturing departments within Stocksbridge site.
  • Ensure relevant site services are available to manufacturing departments to allow them to meet their business objectives.
  • Utilise CMMS to maintain services by completing and feeding back planned and reactive work.
  • Key competencies are a methodical approach to work with attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, decision-making skills and effective verbal communication.
  • A current driving license is essential

About you:

You will be a driven individual who wants to develop and broaden your skillset to enhance your career progression within Liberty Speciality Steels.

You ideally have a working knowledge of the following:-

  • Computerised Maintenance Management System (INFOR)
  • Stocksbridge Site Water, Gas & Air Systems
  • Water Treatment and Effluent Treatment Plants
  • Waste Management
  • Operation of HGV vehicles including Vacuum Tanker
  • Health & Safety systems including Permits, Confined Spaces, Working at Height and Risk Assessments
