Strategic Asset Planning Manager

This role involves:

  • Leading the development and implementation of the Asset Management Strategy and Investment Plans.
  • Procuring and managing a programme of stock condition surveys to gather condition and energy data.
  • Evaluate options for ongoing energy performance collation and the utilisation of internal staff.
  • Reviewing and implementing changes required to our asset management database of information in respect of components and attribute details.
  • Undertaking cost business planning modelling to formulate our 30 year investment plan.
  • Evaluate the requirements to achieve net zero targets and the formulation of a costed business plan.
  • Undertake desktop assessments of stock viability and option appraisals for possible disposal or regeneration potential.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a successful track record in leading service improvement and delivery at a senior level within an Asset Management and Regeneration setting.
  • Have demonstrable experience of leadership and management at a senior level in a resident focused environment.
  • Be highly skilled in translating strategy and vision into relevant and deliverable programmes and plans, along with proven experience of staff management and achieving results through people.
  • Have an understanding of and empathy for social housing.
  • Have excellent written communication, IT literacy, negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills along with strong interpersonal skills at all levels.
