Summary

Working closely with the Generator Team, this person will be responsible for Mechanical Activities in our Tunisian Branch Office.

 

As a Generator Mechanical Supervisor your general duties will be to;

  • Work in the field as a Generator Mechanical Supervisor for Generator Outages.
  • Work in the field service support team providing outage planning and support, leading quality, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Support GEN team on outages as required along with development of a secondary role.
  • Support Rades-C GTCC Generators maintenance works.

This is  a hands on roll carrying out generator mechanical activities according to MPW EUK generator procedures and standards.

 

You will also be involved in Generator auxiliary’s activities according to MPW EUK generator procedures and standards. Including, but not limited to:

  • Removal/Inspection/Overhaul/Assembly of Seal Oil System
  • Removal/Inspection/Overhaul/Assembly of Gas System
  • Removal/Inspection/Overhaul/Assembly of Cooling Water System
  • Supervise and organise above works when manpower provider supplied, ensuring the work is completed within time and quality expectations. 
  • Implement quality control procedures during inspection and testing of generator and related equipment.
  • To actively work on outage planning, execution and improvement within the Field Service department.
  • To review and ensure that the documentation packages issued from the Field Service department meet MPW EUK standards.
  • To review inspection data and provide recommendations.

Develop, review and revise Field Service procedures and related technical information.

  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures reporting all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources.

Person specification:

  • Previous related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Graduate level education is preferred.
  • Fluency in business English
  • Computer knowledge and mastery of common software packages for office work.
