Salary:                    From £26,685 - £38,064 per annum     

Hours:                   37 hours per week

Teaching Hours:    850 per annum

Annual Leave:       45 per annum, plus statutory bank holidays

Contract:               Lecturer Contract, full time, permanent

Pension:                Teachers’ pension scheme

About the role  

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Lecturer in ESOL.

The ESOL Lecturer will plan and deliver a wide range of challenging, relevant learning and work experiences that ensure all learners can develop and apply the skills, knowledge, behaviours and attitudes required for the 21st Century learning, life and work.

 

The successful candidate will:  

  • To be a qualified Teacher or willing to work towards.
  • Qualification to teach ESOL.
  • GCSEs at Level 4/Grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of/experience in working with ESOL students.
  • Evidence of disseminating good practice effectively.
  • The ability to deal promptly and effectively with inappropriate behaviour in the classroom.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
