As a Bricklayer / Groundworker you’ll carry out work with a focus on delivering excellent customer service, along with an ethos of ‘Right First Time’ always completing a repair where practicable in one visit, ensuring high quality and high standards of performance.
You will carry out the operational duties of an all-round multi-skilled operative, including associated works, across the full range of repairs services on all One Manchester`s owned and managed properties (both tenanted and empty homes) and on occasion contract work. You will be agile, travelling directly to your first job utilising a company vehicle.
We’re looking for those that can carry out bricklaying and groundworkers services, including paving, flagging, tarmacking and drainage works.
Critical knowledge, skills and experience required:

To have served and completed a recognised trade apprenticeship or appropriate NVQ L3 standard.

Evidence of key competencies specifically in bricklaying (core trade) and groundwork.

Working knowledge of legislation relating to H&S and CDM.

Excellent communication skills and experience of working within a customer facing environment
As you’ll be visiting our properties throughout Manchester, so you must have a full UK driving licence.
