This is a permanent, full-time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We are currently seeking an Income Services Team Leader to join our team. The main purpose of this role is to manage a team which will include Income Officers, a Court Officer, Former Tenant Arrears Officer and an Administration Officer.  With the support of the Income Manager, you will lead the team to deliver, driving them to be highly effective performers. 

 

This is an important role in which you will: 

  • Ensure that workloads are balanced and be responsible for the supervision and support of your teams ensuring they achieve key performance (KPI) targets in the areas of current and former tenant arrears.   

  • Ensure your team provides and maintains a professional, high-quality service to all Torus customers that meets their individual needs, wherever possible resolving enquiries at the first point of contact.  

  • Plan and monitor team resources in delivering against KPIs, monitoring and tracking trends in payments in developing plans to mitigate rent loss, contributing to the continuous improvement of the Income service and working closely with other teams and agencies to ensure outstanding customer service.  

  • Support the Income Services Manager in delivering a culture of continuous improvement and promoting the training and development of colleagues. 

 

To be successful in this role you will: 

You’ll have substantial experience of working in a housing or income management role with a background of working with targets and KPI's. You will have excellent planning, organisational and interpersonal skills. Leadership skills are also essential and therefore previous people management /coaching experience will be advantageous.
