The Vacancy

Commitment (approximately) 12 - one day per month on average 

 

Framework is a vibrant and ambitious charity delivering services to homeless people and others with a range of support needs, including those in crisis.  We offer a network of services that blend together in response to the circumstances of needs of those we assist – for some this means a safety net whilst for others it is a platform for real and lasting change.  

 

We are enhancing our Board of Trustees by making further appointments of individuals who can contribute to the strategic direction and oversight of our successful and expanding organisation.  We are looking for people who have the relevant skills along with a social conscience, and the commitment to make a difference.  

 

You would be joining a highly focused team that will contribute to the navigation of a journey that presents both new challenges and huge opportunities.  A key role for the Board, working with the Senior Leadership Team, is to determine the priorities in these circumstances.  

 

We work in a challenging environment where the landscape is continually changing.  Budgets for support services have been drastically cut and are still reducing in real terms.  This requires us to consider carefully how to raise new funds and create efficiency without compromising on quality.  By joining Framework as a Trustee/ Board Member, you would become part of a renewed team that will work with the Senior Leadership to navigate these issues. 

 

We are keen to attract applicants who share our values and ethos, and are committed to making a difference for the vulnerable people we serve.  In particular we are targeting people with experience in the following areas: 

 

  • Finance and Risk 

  • Asset Management and Development 

  • Health and/or Social Care 

  • IT, Digital development and transformation 

  • HR, Organisational Development 

  • Commerce 

  • Housing and Supported Housing 

  • Offender Management/Probation Services 

 

In addition those with lived experience of the issues that Framework exists to address, are very welcome to apply.
