ABOUT THE MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN ROLE
Liberty Speciality Steels have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Technician, working on shifts and reporting to the Team Leader /Shift Engineer. Whilst working to a good standard of health and safety in a team working environment, you will deliver and follow routine planned maintenance schedules, reporting of duties and responding to breakdowns.

The Mechanical Technician is required to fully engage in the activities of a multi-disciplined team within the engineering function, ensuring that plant operational targets, product quality, customer service, health & safety standards are met in line with the maintenance execution and development objectives.
Essential requirements:
The Mechanical Technician is required to be fully conversant with mechanical aspects of a rolling mill and associated plant and equipment.
