Aldermore Commercial Real Estate Team – who we are and what we do as a team

The commercial real estate team play a key role in the overall success of the Business Finance division within Aldermore Bank, generating new commercial mortgages through a network of brokers and directly with borrowers. The team is located throughout UK, providing a range of debt options to borrowers seeking finance for commercial property, on an investment or owner-occupier basis.

About the role – what you will be doing in our team

You will report into the Head of Commercial Mortgages South who will be your line manager and responsible for things like performance review meetings, 1-1s and development conversations.

The role of Lending Manager is important to us. You will be responsible for:

Originating and executing commercial mortgages and specialist property loan applications through to completion, managing all aspects of broker and case pipelines. The role holder will be responsible for making suitable recommendations to the Bank’s credit function to enable growth of the lending book in line with business strategy, whilst ensuring that all loan applications are completed within policy and criteria.  The role holder will play a significant part in managing introducer relationships and key broker accounts.
