This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We have an exciting opportunity as Team Leader to the Payments team. In this role you will report to the Payments Manager and work closely with colleagues across CBS. You will have demonstrable leadership skills and an ability to oversee the operational team whilst supporting and developing internal systems.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Team Leadership to achieve agreed SLAs whilst maintaining Quality, and adherence to Policy and Regulatory standards
  • Maximizing efficiency and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional service
  • Responsibility for the training and competency, through ongoing measurement and consistency of decisions
  • Working with internal stakeholder and functions to address any actions
  • Providing timely and accurate reporting of our data and performance

 

What you need…

  • You will have demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop teams to reach their full potential
  • A logical thinker able to balance capacity demands and service achievement without compromising standards
  • Engaging and influencing, working collaboratively with stakeholders, and building strong relationships based on a common goal
  • Great communication skills (verbal and written) are critical to this role enabling you to build exceptional working relationships and translate complex ideas and information to a diverse stakeholder group in a straight-forward way
  • You will be confident and credible presenting to all levels and as required deputising for the team Manager
  • You will be solutions focused, organized and decisive with a cooperative approach
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement and importance of constantly seeking ways to increase productivity/profitability or reduce cost/risk is also essential

 

Location

Our aim is to keep the great balance we have achieved with hybrid working. The successful candidate would therefore be willing to work remotely and be able to work from Cumberland House as and when required.
