Field Team Manager

Lanes is the UK and Ireland's leading drainage supplier with an establish portfolio of prestigious clients. This role would fall under the Thames Water contract that Lanes has been working with for a number of years. Thames Water is the UK's largest supplier of Waste and Clean water in the UK and this role plays an integral role on the service Lanes supplies to Thames. 

 

Position: Field Manager (Special Projects)

Location: Covering South London and East London, with the possibility of travelling to Slough one day a week

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday

Salary: £30,000 to £38,000 depending on experience plus on call allowance, company vehicle and fuel card

Reporting to the Special Projects Operations Delivery Manager, you will need to be able to lead a team of multi-skilled waste network service engineers in the delivery of both a reactive and planned 24/7 operational response in a dynamic environment. The key to success in this role is having a proactive, purposeful yet personable approach in performance and line management

You will be part of a team of Field Managers responsible for all aspects of H & S, performance delivery, people management, vehicle utilisation and ensure adherence to budgetary limits for equipment and consumables.

This is an exciting position for an individual to expand their people skills to l manage a group of employees remotely to drive performance and deliver great result to Thames Water's customers. You would be responsible for overseeing a range of day-to-day operations.
