Join Close Brothers Motor Finance Team where you will develop new opportunity businesses cases representing the core business requirements and aligned commercial objectives for commercial partner opportunities. Working as part of the Motor Finance team our ideal team member will have previous experience in working in external client facing environments including senior level engagement with excellent communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Concept Management:

  • Develop conceptual views of potential commercial partnership opportunities, which are relevant and understandable, without oversimplifying their complexities, impacts on, or requirements of, the business 
  • Proactively work across the organisation to ensure shared understanding of opportunities, with clear alignment to business vision and strategy
  • Develop, syndicate and maintain cost: benefit models to support realistic partner specific and scenario/capability-based planning

Business Case Development:

  • Develop business case, at both individual “opportunity level”, and aggregated “Capability” or “Scenario” level to demonstrate scale of opportunities 
  • Manage the approval (or otherwise) of Business Cases through pre-defined governance routes
  • Maintenance of business cases at various stages of readiness, cross referencing to and influenced by emerging business strategy 

 

General:

  • Maintain pipeline view of opportunities, potential revenue streams, and indicative alignment to CBMF business model.  
  • Ensure Commercial Partner opportunities are maintained and stored within Lead/prospect management system
  • Categorisation and grouping of opportunities, aligning partner needs to future roadmap capabilities, products, services etc, and aggregation of opportunity by theme
  • Participate in relationship management with pipeline clients – ensure contacts are logged and outcome of engagement recorded in Lead/Prospect management system 
  • Refine Structured GTM Strategies with lessons learned from implementations 

Risk & Compliance:

  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

 

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

  • Experience of working in external client facing environments including senior level engagement
  • Experience of working within an internal commercial environment, skilled at influencing and maintaining strong internal relationships with key stakeholder groups across tech/change and core business unit functions
  • Experience of delivering complex transactions either as part of a wider team or individually
  • Experience of working within a regulated environment

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

  • Previous experience working within the UK automotive marketplace
  • Previous experience working within a change and technology environment and or in a change programme environment
  • Previous experience of client relationship management and of using a CRM system to maintain a robust opportunity pipeline.
