The Vacancy

The Twig Group, part of the RSK Group, is seeking an Operative on a full-time permanent basis. You will be living within a commutable distance of our office in Tunbridge Wells in Kent. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing environmental company.

Twig is a leading habitat management company that specialises in ground maintenance, ecological contracting and solar farm maintenance.

Responsibilities:

The operative will perform a range of duties from:

  • landscaping
  • seeding
  • turfing
  • planting
  • arboriculture
  • manual handling
  • vegetation management
  • fencing
  • habitat fencing (e.g.: badger/newt fencing)
  • mowing
  • use of equipment such as ride-on mowers/tractors (training will be given)

Safety is critical and the Operative may be required to work on construction sides or in isolated areas within a team or alone operating plant.

Experience:

  • CSCS Card preferred for immediate start
  • Driving licence – Mandatory
  • Microsoft Office – Optional but preferred
  • Arboriculture qualifications
  • Horticulture qualification
  • First Aid
  • Manual Handling
  • Machine licence such as mini excavator/chipper/tractor CPCS
